As a child, Olga dreamed of being a preschool or special education teacher. Now, she is the psychologist at the School of Hope. Olga came to work for Story about two years ago, and the kids have loved her since. It’s not hard to see why- Olga has a passion for helping meet the needs of others and supporting children through difficult times. She sees great promise in Story’s vision for Huehuetenango. She draws strength from Matthew 22:39, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Outside of the school, Olga enjoys volunteering with the local youth Scout Group, participating in social and cultural groups, listening to music, and watching soccer.
