One of our biggest goals at Story International is to open people’s eyes to the needs of the world, and then equip them with the tools necessary to truly make a difference in the lives of others. We believe everyone is capable of changing and impacting the world around them, so we seek to provide individuals with the resources and outlets to do so. The individuals listed below have taken the initiative to start fundraising campaigns in support of the children at Fundación Salvación . They were inspired by what they learned about these children and want to bring others along in trying to bring hope and a better future to these kids.
We hope you consider supporting one of their campaigns, or starting your own. If you'd like to learn more about how you can start a campaign to support Story International, inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oaks Christian Coffee Campaign
We’re starting a coffee roasting business! We have been blessed to be in relationship with Roberts Wesleyan College, a school that has provided us with experts in the coffee industry and has offered to donate a coffee roaster to kick-start a business that has so much potential in Guatemala. Though we have all the machinery we need to get started, we still need funds for the most important thing: the beans! This money will be directed toward the purchase of 4,000 pounds of green coffee beans that we will use to start the business.
Goal: $7,000 Raised: $3,441
Angela's Transitional Housing Campaign
Our newest program, El Puente is a transitional living program that was launched in January of 2016 with the purpose of transitioning our kids out of group home living and back into their society once they turned 18. Story International created the transitional program to prepare our young adults for independence and adulthood, teaching them critical life skills including how to build a resume, drive a car, cook for themselves, and manage a budget.
